How to Add New Hazardous Substances in a Master List

Instruction Guide

 

  • Step 1: Navigate to “Hazardous Substances” and select the master list.
  • Step 2: Click “Add Item” and choose “Add New.”
  • Step 3: Input the hazardous substance details, including name, description, photo, type (“Aerosol”, “Gas”, “Liquid”, “Powder”, or “Solid”), location, quantity, maximum allowed, UN Number, classification, and Segregation & storage requirements.
  • Step 4: Add the SDS link and expiration date, upload files, indicate packing group, HazChem code, GHS hazard statement, approval number, container size, Open or Closed container, manufacturer or supplier, and hazardous waste stream.
  • Step 5: Enter PPE requirement and Additional Information.
  • Step 6: Click “Save“.

 

If the Hazardous Substances Module is not visible in the menu, it means you do not have the required permissions.
