“Incorrect email or password”
Double-check for typos, caps lock, and extra spaces. Use Forgot password? if you’re unsure.
“This account uses Google/Microsoft sign-in”
Your account was set up with SSO — use the matching Google or Microsoft button instead of entering a password.
“You’re not registered with Teammate”
You signed in successfully with Microsoft or Google, and Teammate then said it could not find an account for you. This means the sign-in was fine — the address it signed you in with just does not match any login in your organisation’s Teammate.
The message shows that address after Signed in with. Read it carefully: a single missing letter is enough, and it is the most common cause.
- Note the address shown after Signed in with on the message.
- Send it to your organisation’s Teammate administrator and ask them to check the login email on your record — not the profile email, which is often correct while the login one is not.
- Once they correct it and save, sign in again with the same Microsoft or Google button. You do not need a new invitation.
For administrators: open the employee under Human Resources → Employees → Edit → Credentials (or Admin → User Access Setting). The Work Email field shows the login email that sign-in uses; when it differs from the profile email an amber notice names both, with a Use profile email button. Correct it and save. See Editing employee profiles & login details.
Stuck on a loading screen
Check your internet connection, then try refreshing the page or fully closing and reopening the mobile app.
“Your account has been deactivated”
Contact your organisation’s admin — accounts are deactivated by an admin, usually when someone leaves the organisation.
Still stuck
Contact your organisation’s admin, who can check your account status, or reach Teammate support if the problem is with the app itself.
