Open a task and use the comment box at the bottom to add updates or ask a question.

@Mentioning someone

Type @ followed by a name in a comment to notify a specific person — they'll get a notification pointing them straight to the task.

Activity feed

Every change — status updates, reassignments, comments — is logged in the task's activity feed, giving a full history of what happened and when.
